This year we have filled our Amphitheatre with chairs with backs for every seat. Every level is raised and has a great view of the circular stage in the middle. Sound is naturally impressive due to the organic shape and nature of the performance space. Only the back row of seating is step free and accessible.

Cancellations, Exchanges & Refunds
Book with Confidence
An integral part of the experience of the Waterperry Opera Festival is that most of the shows are performed in the open air and so can be adversely affected by the weather. We are experienced at producing outdoor theatre and have contingencies in place for most weather conditions. We won’t decide to cancel a performance until the advertised start time.
If bad weather conditions are forecast for the day of a performance, please bring appropriate clothing and protection. Umbrellas however are not permitted during any performances.
Cancellation: If a show is cancelled because of bad weather, your ticket can be exchanged for another show in this year’s festival, subject to availability, but not refunded (see Exchanges below).
If a show is cancelled for any other reason, your ticket can be exchanged, subject to availability, or refunded.
Exchanges: To exchange your ticket for a show that has been cancelled, complete the online form available below. You can obtain a new ticket to a later performance of the same show or to any other show at this year’s festival, subject in either case to availability. If the price of the new ticket is more than your original ticket, you will need to pay the difference if it exceeds £20.
Refunds: To obtain a refund of your ticket for a show that has been cancelled, complete the online form available below. No refund is available if the show was cancelled because of bad weather. Only the price of your ticket is refundable. This excludes any booking fees, delivery charges or any other expenses that may have been incurred. All requests for refunds must be made within 3 months of the date of the cancelled show.
