Placements & Internships

Waterperry Opera Festival’s Placement and Internship Programme offers current students and early-career creatives relevant insights into careers paths within the operatic sector which are off-stage/behind the scenes. Placement and Internship opportunities are offered to students studying technical skilled roles within theatre, or who are seeking to gain experience in the management/administrative roles. 

Our placement and internship positions include; movement direction, costume & wardrobe, production management, stage management, producing, and marketing. Placements and internship positions are part-time, with programme activities being tailored to the individual’s interests, and a heavier focus placed on shadowing/mentoring from industry professionals.
